• August 2025
  Between 8 and 18 August 2025, attackers used stolen OAuth tokens from the third-party app Salesloft Drift to take data from the Salesforce instances of hundreds of customer companies. In October, a group claiming the theft tried extortion and Salesforce refused to pay; Salesforce said there was no indication its platform was compromised. Record counts are unverified. ^[5]
