GUARDIANA INSIDE
Your real connections, on the map and the globe
On your computer, GUARDIANA draws who each program connects to, how much it sends and to which country, with a real measurement every 10 seconds. This page does not show you invented data: what you see in the program is what your computer did.
Real recording, in preparation
We are recording five minutes of a test PC left untouched. When it is ready it will be published here with its record sheet (date, computer, versions, what was open, what was hidden and why) and the file with the measurements, so anyone can check it.
What you will see on your computer
- Programs: each program that connects, how much it sends and receives, and where to.
- Destinations: the country and the company of each server, on a map or on the globe.
- Data and antivirus, separately: what your browser and your programs send, and what your antivirus sends.
- What to cut: you can block a destination by its name, or everything your antivirus sends, and undo it with one click.
What it does not do
GUARDIANA counts how much goes out and where to; it never reads what is sent, and the measurements stay only on your computer. Data per program is measured on Windows; on Mac and Linux, GUARDIANA sees which names are requested, from which device and when.
